OpenFile with n8n

Connect n8n to the OpenFile MCP server and it can check names, price filings and prepare them. It needs no key or account.

Connect

Add an MCP Client Tool to your AI Agent node, then set:

• Endpoint: https://mcp.joinopenfile.com
• Server transport: HTTP Streamable
• Authentication: None

Try it

Your agent can then handle requests like:

• "Form a Wyoming LLC for my candle business."
• "Is QUILLBROOK likely to be refused as a trademark for candles?"
• "What would it cost to file a trademark in two classes?"
• "Where is my order?"

Have your agent call plan_task first, so it asks the person what it needs instead of guessing.

What you still do yourself

Your agent prepares the draft and sends the owner a link. They open it, check every answer and sign. An agent can't sign for them, and it never handles a Social Security number. Why the owner signs.

Check it worked

List the tools it loaded. You should see plan_task, create_formation and search_docs.
