What it can do
Check a name
Screen it for refusal grounds and search USPTO records.
Price a filing
State fees, add-ons and USPTO fees, line by line.
Prepare the filing
Company formations and trademark applications, as drafts.
Follow it
See the order or filing move through each step.
What you do yourself
You review the draft and sign it. An agent can't sign, confirm your registered agent's consent, handle your Social Security number or turn on anything that renews.
Questions
Can my agent file for me?
It can prepare the filing and send you a link. You check it and sign, and then our staff or attorney file it.
Do I need a key or an account?
No. Add the address to your client and start.
Does my agent see my Social Security number?
No. You give it on our secure page, and the API refuses one.
What does it cost?
The MCP server is free. You pay the same as on the site, and only for what you file.
For developers
Start with the MCP guide or the quickstart. Every page on this site is also available as Markdown: add .md to its address.
