# Get a filing type

`GET /api/v1/filing-types/{slug}`

One filing, with its fees for a number of classes. `availability: not_open` means nothing can be placed for it yet.

In the MCP server this is `get_filing_type`.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `slug` | string | Yes | The filing, like `statement-of-use`. |
| `classes` | integer | No | Classes to price, 1 to 10. |
| `package` | `standard` | No | Send `standard` if we filed the mark, which includes office-action replies. |

## Errors

| Status | When |
| --- | --- |
| `404` | Not found, or the token is wrong. |
